Odesa massively attacked by strike drones, residential building and toy warehouse damaged
On the evening of Monday, March 10, explosions were heard in Odesa. Russia attacked the city with strike drones.
This was reported by the city's mayor, Hennadii Trukhanov, on Telegram.
The mayor of Odesa also called on residents to stay in safe places.
At around 9:50 p.m., the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram about a new group of strike UAVs in the direction of the Odesa Region from the Black Sea.
At around 10 p.m., an air alert was announced in the Odesa Region. The alert is related to the threat of the use of strike UAVs.
Soon, at 10:41 p.m., the mayor of the city emphasized that the residents of Odesa should stay in safe places.
"Kyivskyi district, attention! Arkadiya, be careful!" Hennadii Trukhanov emphasized for the next 10 minutes.
A few minutes later, it became known that explosions were heard in the city.
As a result of the enemy attack, fires were recorded in the city. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"The enemy once again massively attacked Odesa with strike drones. As a result of the attack, a private residential building, a warehouse of children's toys and a fuel tank caught fire," the report says.
According to Kiper, information about the victims is being clarified. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 8, the russians launched 3 missiles of various types and 145 strike UAVs over Ukraine, air defense forces shot down a cruise missile and 79 drones, 54 UAVs were lost in location.
Meanwhile, Syrskyi reported that in February, the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit and destroyed 22% more enemy targets compared to January.
