Battle for Kostiantynopil. City remains under AFU control, – DeepState
The settlement of Kostiantynopil in the Donetsk Region is under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, despite the statements of the russian Defense Ministry and russian propagandists about its alleged capture.
DeepState has reported this.
"Despite the statements of the Russian Defense Ministry and Russian "military correspondents", the city of Kostiantynopil is still under the control of the Defense Forces," analysts note.
According to DeepState, on March 9, russian troops sent several combat groups to the village, which entered its northern, eastern and western outskirts.
"Some of the groups were destroyed, some may still be hiding in the village until they are discovered and destroyed," analysts report.
Meanwhile, in the area of Ulakly, the occupiers were able to advance, regroup and accumulate forces for new attacks on Kostiantynopil.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 8, Time magazine wrote, citing its own sources, that the cessation of intelligence sharing between the US and Ukraine had helped the russians advance in the Kursk Oblast.
According to the British publication The Telegraph, as a result of the breakthrough of the front line by russian troops, about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers allegedly found themselves under threat of encirclement in the Kursk Oblast.
And the New York Post wrote, citing unnamed sources, that the Ukrainian Defense Forces may allegedly withdraw from the territory of the Kursk Oblast within the next two weeks.
Meanwhile, the army of the aggressor country, russia, has allegedly regained control over three settlements in the Kursk Oblast, which have been under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces since August 2024.
