Russians once again hit Odesa Region with drones, casualties reported. Investigation launched
Russian occupiers attacked the Odesa Region with drones, as a result of which two people were injured. A pre-trial investigation has been launched.
This is stated in the message of the Prosecutor General's Office.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," it says.
Thus, according to the investigation, on the evening of March 5, the Armed Forces of the aggressor country of the russian federation attacked the city of Pivdenne in the Odesa Region. Energy and civil infrastructure facilities were under attack.
As a result of the attack, two local residents were injured.
Private and multi-storey buildings, service station premises and at least 15 cars were damaged.
Due to the enemy attack, more than ten thousand local residents were left without electricity.
It is noted that the inspection is ongoing, a full list of destruction and damage is being established. At the scene of the incident, prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the armed aggression of the russian federation.
