Russia transfers twice as many bodies of fallen to Ukraine in 4 months than during entire period of full-scale war

The aggressor country russia has transferred twice as many bodies of the fallen to Ukraine in the past four months than since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

According to RBC-Ukraine, the Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances Artur Dobroserdov has stated this.

"You understand that over the past 4 months we have had large-scale repatriations, and the number of bodies that was delivered is twice as large as that delivered during the period of the full-scale invasion," he said at the presentation of the film "Repatriation. Heroes on the Shield".

According to Dobroserdov, currently the Register of Missing Persons contains information on more than 3,200 bodies that have not yet been identified.

The register contains data exclusively on bodies that cannot be visually identified and are under investigation.

A similar number of bodies of fallen defenders were handed over to Ukraine by russia on January 24, 2025.
