Plan of first steps to bring about lasting peace will be ready in near future, - Zelenskyy

Ukraine, together with its allies, is preparing a plan of the first steps to bring about a just and lasting peace.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this on his Telegram channel.

"We are preparing a plan of the first steps to bring about a just and lasting peace. We are working on it quickly. It will be ready in the near future," the President wrote.

Zelenskyy also said that he had a conversation with Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob to inform about the leaders' summit in London and discuss joint efforts.

"Europe has a common vision for ending the war and security guarantees. It must be at the table of future negotiations together with Ukraine and the United States," the head of state added.

Recall that the White House National Security Advisor said that Trump would consider the possibility of resuming assistance to Ukraine if peace talks are organized and confidence-building measures are taken.

On March 4, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared that Ukraine was ready for peace talks.
