Trump orders suspension of all arms supplies to Ukraine - CNN and Bloomberg

US President Donald Trump has ordered the suspension of military aid to Ukraine after his public altercation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which took place in the Oval Office of the White House on February 28.

This was reported by CNN and Bloomberg, citing their own sources.

Unnamed officials from the US presidential administration said that Trump instructed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to suspend all current military aid to Ukraine.

A Bloomberg source said that the suspension applies to all weapons, equipment that are in transit on planes and cargo ships, as well as awaiting transfer to Ukraine in transit zones in Poland.

"The President has made it clear that he is committed to peace. We need our partners to be committed to this goal as well. We are suspending and reviewing our assistance to make sure that it contributes to solving the problem," CNN quoted a White House representative as saying.

The official added that the pause in the provision of military aid is a direct response to Zelenskyy's behavior, which Trump and members of his administration consider "bad."

At the time of writing, there was no official confirmation of the information about the termination of military aid to Ukraine from the United States.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Monday, March 3, the American publication The Wall Street Journal wrote, citing sources, that the Trump administration had instructed to stop financing new arms sales to Ukraine.
