Russians report explosions and fire at Ufa oil refinery

Russians have reported that explosions and a fire broke out at the Bashneft oil refinery in Ufa (Bashkortostan, russia) on the night of March 3.

Surveillance cameras recorded the moment of the explosion on the territory of the Bashneft oil refinery complex in the city of Ufa. According to the cameras, the explosion occurred at 2:38 am local time, after which a fire broke out on the territory of the complex.

Emergency service declared that a fire had occurred on the territory of the enterprise near the incinerator. At present, the alleged open burning on the territory of the plant has been eliminated, and an excess of harmful substances has allegedly not been recorded near the enterprise.

The publication reports that, in addition to the emergency service, the head of the Ordzhonikidze district of Ufa also confirmed the fire at the plant, but the cause was not named.

However, the russian ministry of defense did not mention Bashkortostan in its report on the interception of drones overnight.
