Over the past day, March 1, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 1,110 russian invaders, as well as 8 tanks, 25 armored combat vehicles, 51 artillery systems, 2 multiple launch rocket systems, 3 air defense systems and 5 units of special equipment.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 02.03.25 are approximately:
- personnel – about 876,720 (+1,110) people,
- tanks – 10,241 (+8) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 21,274 (+25) units,
- artillery systems – 23,959 (+51) units,
- MLRS – 1,306 (+2) units,
- air defense means – 1,091 (+3) units,
- aircraft – 370 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 331 (+0) units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 27,594 (+192),
- cruise missiles – 3,085 (+0),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- motor vehicles and fuel tanks – 39,218 (+117) units,
- special equipment – 3,768 (+5).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, on the night of March 2, russian troops carried out a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine using Shahed strike drones and various types of simulator drones – a total of 79 drone launches were recorded. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 63 enemy air targets.
