Russia launches massive attack on Ukraine with drones. Air defense downed 113 of 185 enemy UAVs at night

On the night of Monday, February 24, russian troops launched 185 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 113 of them, another 71 drones were lost in location.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of February 24 (from 08:00 pm on February 23), the enemy attacked with 185 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk (all - russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).

"As of 08:00 am, it has been confirmed that 113 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk Regions. 71 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.

Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi Regions were affected by the enemy attack.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 22, the russians launched 162 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 82 enemy UAVs, and another 75 drones were lost in location.

On the night of February 23, the aggressor country of russia attacked Ukraine with 267 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types, as well as three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Crimea.
