Ukraine expecting to receive USD 2.7 billion from IMF in 2025
In 2025, it is planned to attract USD 2.7 billion from the IMF based on the results of four quarterly reviews.
This is indicated in a statement by the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
At the same time, the program is part of the international support package for Ukraine, which currently amounts to about USD 148 billion.
To date, Ukraine has already implemented 35 structural beacons - reform measures within the framework of the Extended Fund Facility program with the IMF.
In order to continue the program in 2025, the Ukrainian Government must fulfill the necessary conditions in the following areas:
- strengthening financial stability;
- supporting economic recovery;
- improving the management of state institutions;
- European integration.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received more than USD 12.4 billion from the IMF.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine received USD 1.1 billion from the International Monetary Fund at the end of December 2024.
