Russia again deploys missile carrier to Black Sea – Navy
As of 6 a.m. on Monday, February 17, russia has 1 ship on combat duty in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"In the Black Sea, there is 1 enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea, there are 4 enemy ships, of which 3 are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 26 missiles," the message says.
During the day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:
- to the Black Sea – 6 vessels, 2 of which continued their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – 12 vessels, 5 of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 15, there were also no enemy ships in the Black and Azov Seas.
