Russian army attacks Ukraine with drones. Air defense forces shoot down 85 of 140 enemy drones at night

On the night of Thursday, February 13, the russian troops launched 140 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and the air defense forces managed to shoot down 85 of them.

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of February 13 (from 8 p.m. on February 12), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 140 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russian federation).

"As of 09:00 a.m., it has been confirmed that 85 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Odesa Regions. 52 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.

The Odesa and Kharkiv Regions were affected by the enemy attack.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy air attack.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, from the evening of February 11 to the morning of February 12, the russian occupation army attacked with Iskander-M ballistic missiles and launched 123 UAVs over Ukraine.
