Defense Ministry allows BATON drones to be used in AFU

The Ministry of Defense has codified and allowed domestically produced BATON unmanned aerial systems to be used in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

This is indicated in a statement by the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that BATON drones are manufactured taking into account the requirements of the military on the principle of maximum simplicity and ease of operation in difficult conditions.

BATON drones are based on frames of various sizes.

The "warbirds" of these complexes can operate in different weather conditions: in frost and heat.

Structurally, the drones have good dynamic properties and can, in particular, catch up with and hit enemy targets at considerable speed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in February, the Ministry of Defense also allowed the use of Ukrainian-made ZEUS and HADES unmanned aerial systems in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
