Explosions were heard in Kyiv at night. Fires broke out due to UAV attack
On the night of February 10, a series of explosions were heard in Kyiv, which preceded the recorded movement of enemy drones towards the capital.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on his Telegram channel.
At approximately 01:30 a.m., Kyiv residents heard at least four explosions. According to preliminary information, the sounds of detonation were associated with the work of air defense forces. Monitoring resources reported the movement of enemy drones on the outskirts of the capital. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed that the Shaheds were spotted within the Kyiv Region.
Late in the evening, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported on the active work of air defense in the region in connection with the enemy attack of drones.
According to Vitali Klitschko, a fire broke out in a one-story non-residential building in the Solomianskyi District of Kyiv. Preliminarily, the fire was caused by the fall of debris from an enemy drone.
"The fire occurred in the surrounding area. All services are working on the spot," he said.
A fire was also recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi District, however, according to emergency services, it is not related to the attack on the city.
There is no preliminary information about the injured.
At about 1:43 a.m., explosions were heard again in Kyiv, which were probably the result of air defense work.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, said that the russian invaders are continuing their attack on the capital.
"The sounds you can hear are the work of our defenders on air targets," he stressed, adding that at the moment "no debris has been recorded falling."
Recall that in a week, the russian federation launched more than 1,260 aerial bombs, almost 750 strike UAVs, and more than 10 missiles on Ukraine.
