ATB increases its turnover to UAH 248.8 billion in 2024: 15% growth despite challenges of wartime

The ATB group of companies, which manages the largest retail chain in Ukraine – ATB-Market, increased its turnover to UAH 248.8 billion (including VAT and excise duties) in 2024. This is 15% more than the previous year's result.

The company's press service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Successfully operating in the domestic retail market for more than three decades, ATB has become a true national brand and one of the symbols of Ukrainian invincibility," the company commented on the results achieved in terms of turnover.

Currently, in different parts of Ukraine, including dangerous frontline settlements, more than 1,250 stores of the ATB-Market chain continue to provide Ukrainians with quality products and other goods.

"The total assortment of each of them exceeds 3,500 product items and quality essential goods at competitive prices. Thanks to this and the hard work of tens of thousands of ATB employees, the company is gradually increasing its turnover indicators," the company explained the growth.

ATB continues to demonstrate dynamic development even despite the challenges of wartime. In the first year of the full-scale invasion, the chain's turnover amounted to UAH 176.9 billion, and in 2023 it grew by 26% - to UAH 216.3 billion. In 2024, the company was able to increase this indicator by another 15%, which indicates the stability of its business model, management efficiency and ability to adapt to new challenges.

According to the Opendatabot index, ATB confidently ranks first among the best enterprises in Ukraine in terms of revenue and is among the top five in the ranking of the most expensive domestic brands.

Among the main factors that contributed to the growth of the company's financial indicators are the active restoration and expansion of the store network, stable logistics, as well as the policy of maintaining affordable prices for Ukrainian consumers.

By steadfastly adhering to its traditional strategy of dynamic growth, ATB is able to expand priority projects related to supporting the Defense Forces, the affected civilian population, increasing the promotional line, strengthening energy independence and security initiatives, etc. The total amount of humanitarian projects and charitable assistance from ATB to Ukrainian soldiers, doctors and medical institutions, rescuers and volunteer initiatives for residents of the deoccupied territories reached UAH 2 billion. According to this indicator, the company is among the TOP-10 Ukrainian enterprises and business groups with the largest contribution to military and humanitarian aid.

The growth of ATB's business also allows the company to make a positive contribution to employment for Ukrainians. As of the beginning of 2025, the number of employees of the ATB group reaches 59,000 Ukrainians, and during 2024 the company created about 2,000 new jobs due to the planned opening of new stores, the resumption of distribution centers and other facilities. This becomes an impetus for the development of local economic ecosystems and provides thousands of Ukrainian families with a stable source of income.

Due to the significant scale of its activities and its increase, ATB remains one of the largest donors to budgets of various levels. According to the results of 2024, the group paid a record UAH 28.61 billion in taxes and fees – this is 14% more than the result of the previous year. ATB's tax contribution is almost half of the funds paid to the country's budget by the entire domestic retail sector.
