Russian army trying to gain foothold on right bank of Oskil River – DeepState
Russian troops continue their attempts to cross the Oskil River in the Kharkiv Region and were able to create a small bridgehead near the village of Topoli.
The analytical project DeepState has reported this.
According to analysts, the enemy has taken up positions on a chalk mountain south of Topoli. Active reconnaissance of the area began in December, and attempts to cross the river have been ongoing since mid-January.
The russians also tried to gain a foothold between Kamianka and Topoli, but without success. They were unable to build on their success, so this attempt remains only an alarm signal for possible new attacks.
