Russia keeps 2 ships in Black Sea, including 1 missile carrier – Navy
As of 06:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, russia keeps 2 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, 1 of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"There are 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, of which 1 is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 6 enemy ships, of which 2 are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 22 missiles," the message says.
During the day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:
- to the Black Sea – 5 vessels, 2 of which continued their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – 12 vessels, 5 of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 31, there were 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, including 1 missile carrier, and there were no russian warships in the Sea of Azov.
