This was announced by the head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Russia is now using Shahed drones with an increased warhead of up to 90 kg and metal elements (shrapnel) to increase the number of casualties among civilians," he said.

Yermak stressed that criminals and terrorists must receive an answer for this and they will receive it.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Director of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration Ruslan Kandybor reported on the air of Kyiv24 that on the night of January 29, Kyiv was attacked by enemy drones filled with shrapnel, the fragments of one of the drones fell on the railway tracks, damaging the security premises and the fence.

But later the Kyiv City Military Administration denied this, noting that in Kyiv as a result of the russian attack on January 29, no damage to objects by drones with shrapnel was recorded.
