158 combat clashes take place at front during day, 72 of them in Pokrovsk Axis

On January 29, 158 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was Pokrovsk, where 72 enemy assault actions took place during the day.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 43 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 96 guided aerial bombs, and using 2,120 kamikaze drones.

In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,300 shelling, 90 of them from MLRS.

On January 29, 158 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions in the Kharkiv Axis.

In the Kupyansk Axis, 10 attacks by the invaders near Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove and Lozova were repelled.

In the Lyman Axis, 26 attacks were repelled near Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Makiyivka, Novoliubivka, Torske, Yampolivka and Zelena Dolyna.

In the Siversk Axis, the enemy attacked six times near the settlement of Verkhniokamyanske.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, 10 clashes were recorded in the areas of Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near the settlements of Krymske and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 72 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Vidrodzhennia, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Andriyivka, Dachne and Ulakly.

In the Novopavlivka Axis, 6 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Rozdolne and Novoocheretuvate were repelled.

In the Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk Axes, the enemy did not conduct assault and offensive actions.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue the operation in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation); over the past day, 8 combat clashes took place here, the enemy launched 19 air strikes using 35 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 426 artillery attacks, including 12 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces.

Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have hit ten areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one air defense system, as well as two other important objects of the russian invaders.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on January 28 amounted to 1,270 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 28, 193 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was the Pokrovsk one, where 88 enemy assault actions took place during the day.
