Ticket prices for trains to Warsaw and Budapest will increase from February 1 – Ukrzaliznytsia

From February 1, the cost of travel on international trains Kyiv - Warsaw and Kyiv - Budapest will increase.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Tuesday, January 27.

Ukrzaliznytsia stated that due to the increase in the cost of consumables and energy resources, it suffered losses of UAH 18 billion over the past year. Because of this, the company reported that it is gradually reviewing discounts on international trains.

It is possible to book tickets for the specified flights at current prices until February on the official website or through the carrier's application. At the same time, the discount on trains to Austria and Moldova remains unchanged, so the price increase will not apply to these flights.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched full-fledged lunches on some trains in a test mode, the menu for which was developed by chef Yevhen Klopotenko.
