Air defense forces downed 57 of 104 enemy drones at night

Overnight into Monday, January 27, russian troops launched 104 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 57 of them, another 39 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that last night the enemy attacked with 104 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).

"As of 09:00 a.m., it has been confirmed that 57 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions. 39 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.

Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv Regions were affected by the attack by russian UAVs: infrastructure facilities, apartment buildings and private houses were hit.

According to preliminary information, there are no victims, assistance is being provided to the victims.

Special services are eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of January 25, the russians launched 2 guided aircraft missiles and 61 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down both missiles and 46 drones, and another 15 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
