President's Office convinced that economic pressure and strikes deep into russia will allow to zero its economy
The Office of the President of Ukraine believes that increasing the intensity of strikes on the territory of the aggressor country, russia, along with strengthening sanctions, will allow to change the perception of 2025.
This was stated in a commentary by Mykhailo Podoliak, an advisor to the head of the President's Office, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, increasing sanction pressure and increasing the intensity of strikes will lead to a significant increase in panic in russia.
"Then this will have fairly quick consequences. And then, look, in parallel, 6-8 months of zeroing the economy with 3-4 months of increasing strikes deep into the russian federation. And then we can see this year completely differently," Podoliak said.
He also believes that US President Donald Trump will not negotiate with russia about ending the war in Ukraine on the terms of russian dictator vladimir putin, since this will be a "zeroing" of the American leader's reputation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 22, US President Donald Trump published an appeal to vladimir putin, in which he called on the russian dictator to conclude an agreement on Ukraine as soon as possible.
In case of refusal to sit down at the negotiating table, Trump threatened putin with the imposition of tough sanctions, as well as the introduction of tariffs on all goods exported by the russian federation.
As a reminder, also, The Wall Street Journal wrote that Trump instructed Special Representative for Ukraine and russia Keith Kellogg to end the russian-Ukrainian war in 100 days.
