Drones attack factory in russian Tatarstan that manufactures aircraft

On the morning of January 20, the local airport in the russian Tatarstan was closed, and residents of the city on social networks reported explosions. Meanwhile, a fire is visible from the side where the aviation plant producing bombers and strategic missile carriers is located.

Thus, in Kazan, they announced the temporary closure of the airport. The airfield was also closed in neighboring Nizhnekamsk.

According to media reports, at about 5 a.m. in Kazan, drones attacked the territory of the Kazan Aviation Plant. A fire broke out there. This plant produces and repairs Tu-160 strategic missile carriers and Tu-22M3M/Tu-22M3 long-range bombers. One of the drones allegedly hit an empty tank on the territory of the plant.

At the same time, the press service of the head of Tatarstan confirmed that drones attacked one of the city's industrial enterprises, but did not specify which one.
