AFU hit another russian command post in Donetsk Region with precision strike – General Staff
Today, January 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the third russian command post in the Donetsk Region in less than a week. The defenders launched a precision strike on the command post of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the russian federation in Novohrodivka.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched another precision air strike on the command post of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the russian federation, located in the city of Novohrodivka, Donetsk Region," the report says.
It is indicated that this operation is a continuation of a series of fire strikes on the command posts of the occupation forces on the Donetsk axis.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate a high level of coordination and professionalism in identifying and destroying key objects of the enemy's command and control units and military infrastructure," the General Staff added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 8, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the russian federation in the Donetsk Region. The building was used to coordinate attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians, in particular residents of Kurakhove.
Also, on January 10, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a high-precision strike on the command post of the 3rd Army Corps of the russian federation in the enemy-occupied city of Svitlodarsk, Donetsk Region.
