In 2024, sales of used imported passenger cars increased by 4% to 222,000 units – Ukravtoprom
In 2024, compared to 2023, sales of used imported passenger cars increased by 4% to 222,100 units.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
More than three quarters of all passenger cars that replenished the domestic fleet last year were used cars imported from abroad.
It is noted that the average age of used cars that switched to Ukrainian registration last year was 9 years.
The largest share in this segment of the car market belongs to gasoline cars - 47%.
Diesel cars occupy 25% of this segment of the car market, electric cars - 18%.
Cars with LPG and hybrids - 5% each.
The most popular used car in 2024 remained the Volkswagen Golf - 12,164 registrations.
In second place was Renault Megane (9,608 units), in third place - Skoda Octavia (8,083 units), in fourth - Volkswagen Passat (6,570 units), in fifth - VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan (5,988 units), in sixth - Nissan Leaf (5,511 units), in seventh - AUDI Q5 (5,316 units), in eighth - NISSAN Rogue (4,950 units), in ninth - TESLA Model 3 (4,639 units), closing the top ten - MAZDA CX5 (3,851 units).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, compared to 2022, sales of used imported passenger cars decreased by 45% to 214,400 units.
