Invaders drop 2 500-kilogram air bombs on Zaporizhzhia, they hit crowd of people

The strike on Zaporizhzhia, which killed at least 13 people, was carried out by two 500-kilogram FAB-500 guided air bombs (KABs).

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine.

The department said that the air bombs were equipped with planning and correction modules (UMPK). Such modules are used by the invaders to drop bombs from a distance of 40-70 kilometers from the target.

Both russian bombs exploded among a crowd of people near the administrative part of the infrastructure facility and the roadway.

The explosion caused a fire in the building and vehicles located nearby.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 8, at about 3:40 p.m., the army of the aggressor country russia attacked Zaporizhzhia. The city's industrial infrastructure was hit.

Initially, local authorities reported that at least 30 people were injured and traumatized as a result of the occupiers' strike.

However, it later became known that the russian strike claimed the lives of 13 people. At least 32 more people were injured.
