In 2024, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to USD 112 billion
In 2024, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 70.7 billion and exported USD 41.6 billion.
This was announced by the State Customs Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Overall, trade turnover increased by 13% compared to 2023, when it amounted to USD 99.4 billion.
At the same time, taxed imports amounted to USD 57.4 billion, which is 81% of the total volume of imported goods.
The tax burden on 1 kg of taxed imports in 2024 amounted to USD 0.51/kg, which is 5% more than in 2023.
Thus, among the leaders of countries that imported goods to Ukraine: China - USD 14.4 billion, Poland - USD 7 billion and Germany - USD 5.4 billion.
In the total volume of goods imported in 2024, 65% were the following categories of goods:
- machinery, equipment and transport - USD 25 billion;
- chemical industry products - USD 11.7 billion;
- fuel and energy - USD 8.9 billion.
The most exported goods from Ukraine were to Poland - USD 4.7 billion, Spain - USD 2.9 billion and Germany - USD2.8 billion.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine included:
- food products - USD 24.6 billion;
- metals and products made from them - USD 4.4 billion;
- machinery, equipment and transport - USD 3.5 billion.
The report states that in 2024, during customs clearance of exports of goods for which export duties are established, UAH 311.3 million was paid to the budget.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-November, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 63.6 billion and exported USD 38.3 billion.
