Azerbaijan directly accuses russian representatives of passenger plane crash

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev directly stated that the responsibility for the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane, which crashed near Aktau in Kazakhstan on December 25, 2024, "lies with russian representatives."

This was reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani President.

Aliyev met with the crew members who survived the crash and relatives of the deceased. Earlier, he said that the crash occurred due to the work of air defense, which worked on the plane when it tried to land in Grozny. Now Aliyev demands punishment of those responsible for the plane crash and the deaths.

"We demand justice, we demand punishment of those responsible, we demand complete transparency," he said.

Recall that russia has not yet admitted its guilt in shooting down the plane. Russian dictator vladimir putin apologized to Aliyev, but only for the fact that the plane crash occurred in russian airspace.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Azerbaijan has made demands to the aggressor country of russia after the downing of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane.

As a reminder, Azerbaijan Airlines stated that its Embraer 190 plane, which crashed in Kazakhstan on December 25, had undergone physical and technical external interference before the crash.
