On the night of Saturday, January 4, drones attacked russia's largest seaport Ust-Luga (Leningrad Oblast).
The russian publication Astra reported this with reference to its sources, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that most of the drones that attacked the Leningrad Oblast today were shot down over the terminal of Novatrans LLC on the territory of the Ust-Luga seaport.
According to preliminary information, windows in one of the buildings on the port territory were damaged.
Earlier, the governor of the Leningrad Oblast Aleksandr Drozdenko reported on 4 downed UAVs.
"The night and morning of January 4 became a record for the number of destroyed UAVs. 4 aircraft were destroyed over the territory of the Leningrad Oblast, including with the use of electronic warfare and small arms," he said.
He claims that there are no casualties or damage.
According to open data, the Ust-Luga sea trade port began work with the opening of a coal terminal in December 2001.
In the early 2020s, it became the second largest in russia after Novorossiysk.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of December 31, drones attacked an oil depot in the Smolensk Oblast (russia), after which a massive fire broke out there.
