Kyiv continues to eliminate consequences of drone attack on New Year's Eve for 3rd day

Work continues in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv to eliminate the consequences of the russian drone attack on January 1.

The State Emergency Service reported this on its Telegram channel.

50 rescuers, heavy emergency and rescue equipment, municipal services and volunteers are working at the scene.

"Currently, 5 concrete monolithic slabs have been removed and dismantled, 150 cubic meters of construction debris have been removed," the report says.

As a reminder, on New Year's Eve, russia attacked Ukraine with 111 drones. As a result of the fall of debris from downed drones, objects in the Pecherskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of the city were damaged.

During the attack by russian drones on the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, the famous Ukrainian neurobiologist Ihor Zyma and his wife, biologist Olesia Sokur, were tragically killed.

In addition, the drone's debris fell on one of the buildings of the National Bank of Ukraine.
