NBU to inspect 6 banks for information security and cyber protection

The National Bank of Ukraine plans to carry out inspections of information security, cyber protection and the provision of qualified electronic trust services in six banks in 2025.

This is stated in the NBU's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

These are:

Credit Agricole Bank JSC (EDRPOU 14361575) – I quarter;

Raiffeisen Bank JSC (EDRPOU 14305909) – II quarter;

Pivdennyi JSC (EDRPOU 20953647) – III quarter;

Credit Dnipro JSC (EDRPOU 14352406) – III quarter;

Cominbank JSC (EDRPOU 21580639) – IV quarter;

Altbank JSC (EDRPOU 19358784) - IV quarter.

The inspections of the specified banks are determined by the Plan for conducting inspections of banks for 2025 and will include, in particular, issues of information security and cyber protection.

This will contribute to the improvement of banks' own capabilities in responding to modern cyber threats, as well as strengthening the cyber resilience of both banks in particular and the banking system as a whole.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2025 the National Bank of Ukraine planned to conduct on-site monitoring of four oversight facilities, including Rinat Akhmetov's bank FUIB and Serhii Tihipko's Universal Bank (under whose license Monobank operates).
