Air defense downs 9 out of 10 enemy UAVs – Air Force
From 07:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, the russian occupiers launched six S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod Oblast over the Kursk and Sumy Oblasts, and also attacked with 10 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types from Crimea.
This is stated in the message of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is reported that as a result of combat work, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups shot down 9 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types. All of them in the Mykolaiv Region.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 26, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a protected facility of the Armed Forces of the aggressor country, the russian federation, in the Oryol Oblast, where Shahed drones were being repaired.
Also, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the European Union, Vsevolod Chentsov, stated that the russian federation has equipped drones with artificial intelligence, which allows them to fly autonomously and better recognize targets.
