Russians upgrade Shahed drones to make them unjammable – Ukrainian Ambassador to EU Chentsov

The aggressor country russia has equipped its drones with artificial intelligence, which allows them to fly autonomously and better recognize targets.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the European Union Vsevolod Chentsov announced this, Politico reports on Friday, December 27.

Chentsov noted that Ukraine needs Western missiles to intercept russian air targets. According to him, the aggressor's attacks are becoming increasingly brutal and are aimed at energy infrastructure and residential facilities.

"The Russians are even using AI to make it more difficult to jam their Shahed drones. They’ve started equipping them with the capability to recognize targets even if they’re disconnected from the network, so if they’re flying offline they can still see the object that resembles the power station,” Chentsov said.

The Ambassador warned against any outcome that would allow the aggressor country to declare its victory and make chaos for its neighbors normal.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, December 27, russian terrorist forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 24 drones into the territory of Ukraine.

On the night of December 26, russian forces launched 31 drones into the territory of Ukraine.

Recall that in September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the first time shot down a Shahed on which the russians had installed Starlink.
