On December 20, as a result of the fire damage inflicted by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine on the enemy concentration near the settlement of Novoivanovka, Kursk Oblast, North Korean troops suffered significant losses in killed and wounded.

On December 21, 2024, the russians continued to supply the units of the DPRK army with ammunition and food in order to replace losses in positions and continue assault operations.

On December 22, 2024, as a result of a successful strike by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, probably on one of the key communication nodes of the North Korean army, a sharp decrease in radio exchange between the DPRK military was recorded.

On December 24, 2024, the North Korean units involved in the war conducted combat operations, in particular, in the Darino-Novoivanovka area of ​​the Kursk Oblast, they fired mortar/AGS fire with correction using UAVs. The enemy forces are changing positions and are about 1 kilometer from the line of combat contact.

The DPRK troops also deployed at least 5 additional observation posts with the code names "Border 1-5" for the purpose of more effective reconnaissance.
