Over the past day, December 25, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, lost 1,540 soldiers at the front in Ukraine. In total, since February 24, 2022, the losses of the russian federation have exceeded 780,000 soldiers.

This was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to December 26, 2024 were approximately:

• personnel - about 780,860 (+1,540) people eliminated;
• tanks - 9,630 (+2) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 19,933 (+10) units;
• artillery systems - 21,357 (+24) units;
• MLRS - 1,256 units;
• air defense systems - 1,031 (+1) units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 329 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 20,971 (+63) units;
• cruise missiles - 3,003 (+55) units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tanker trucks - 32,180 (+63) units;
• special equipment - 3,667 units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on December 22 increased by 1,990 to 776,090 people, equipment - ​​by 6 tanks, 15 armored vehicles and 29 artillery systems.
