Plane bound for russia crashed in Kazakhstan. About 70 people were on board
A plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed in Aktau in Kazakhstan. There were 69 people on board. According to preliminary data, at least 29 people survived.

Among the possible causes of the accident are a collision with a flock of birds and a technical malfunction.
The Grozny airport said that due to fog, the flight was diverted to Makhachkala and then to Aktau. The plane crashed a few kilometers from the Kazakh airport. During the collision, a fire broke out, which was soon extinguished.
There is currently no exact data on the number of passengers killed and survivors.
According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, there were 37 citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 citizens of russia, 6 citizens of Kazakhstan and 3 citizens of Kyrgyzstan on board.
After the accident, the plane fell apart, the tail section detached and overturned.
