266 combat clashes take place at front during day, 60 of them in Pokrovsk Axis

On December 24, 266 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was the Pokrovsk Axis, where 60 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively attacked in the Kurakhove, Vremivka Axes and in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation).

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 17 air strikes, in particular, dropping 34 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 4,385 attacks, 140 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and attracted about 1,500 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On December 24, 266 combat clashes with the russian invaders were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, the russians stormed five times near Vovchansk and Vysoka Yaruha.

In the Kupyansk Axis, there were 23 attacks by the invaders.

The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove and Lozova.

In the Liman Axis, the enemy attacked 31 times, trying to wedge into the Ukrainian defenses near Druzheliubivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Makiyivka, Terny, Torske and in the direction of Hryhorivka.

In the Siversk Axis, the Ukrainian defenders repelled one assault by the russian invaders near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the invaders attacked 14 times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk Axis, the aggressor made 16 attempts to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units near Toretsk, Druzhba, and Dachne.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promen, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Vovkove, and Novovasylivka.

In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 36 attacks.

The occupiers most actively tried to advance near Petropavlivka, Shevchenko, and in the Kurakhove area.

In the Vremivka Axis, the enemy made 34 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Uspenivka, Yantarne, Kostiantynopolske, Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, Velyka Novosilka, and Storozheve.

Four unsuccessful attempts to dislodge the units of the Defense Forces from the occupied positions were made by the invaders in the Prydniprovsk Axis.

The operation is ongoing in the Kursk Oblast, where over the past day there have been 37 combat clashes between Ukrainian defenders and russian military personnel.

Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have hit one UAV control point, an ammunition depot, five personnel concentration areas, an electronic warfare device, and two enemy artillery systems.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on December 24 amounted to 1,600 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 23, 252 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was in the Vremivka (35 clashes), Kurakhove (32 clashes), and Pokrovsk (30 clashes) Axes.

In the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, Ukrainian troops repelled 46 enemy assaults.
