All 12 missiles that attacked Kharkiv were aimed at energy facilities - mayor Terekhov on consequences of shelling
On December 25, the russian occupiers launched 12 missiles at Kharkiv. All of them were aimed at boiler houses and power engineering facilities.
This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
"The enemy launched 12 missiles at the city, all of them were aimed at our boiler houses, our CHPPs, and power engineering facilities. In parallel with the shelling of Kharkiv, the entire energy sector of the country was also under attack by the enemy," he wrote.
As a result of the shelling, Ukrenergo introduced special power outage schedules in Kharkiv. Emergency outage schedules should soon appear on the regional energy authority's website.
As a result of the attack on heat and power facilities, a significant part of Kharkiv was left without heating.
Currently, 4 injured are known. Also in the morning, several Shaheds attacked Kharkiv - private residential buildings were damaged.
"However, we managed to ensure the normal operation of the city's electric transport. All our specialized municipal services will work to keep the heat and restart the heating system. All Invincibility points are now open in Kharkiv, which are provided with everything necessary," Terekhov added.
Recall that on Christmas, December 25, the aggressor country of russia launched more than 70 missiles and 100 drones at Ukraine. More than 50 missiles and a significant part of the drones were shot down.
