Defense Ministry approves supply of Shchedryk UAV to Defense Forces

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the supply of the domestically produced Shchedryk unmanned aerial vehicle complex to the Defense Forces.

This is announced in the statement of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that it performs tasks of monitoring enemy actions on the battlefield, can operate both day and night.

The complex consists of a control station and remotely controlled aircraft. The drones are equipped with silent electric engines and have increased resistance to the effects of radio-electronic interference.

The Shchedryk aircraft can perform tasks during strong winds, in frost and heat, the battery charge is enough for a long period of continuous operation.

"The capabilities of the aircraft and its optical equipment allow it to operate from heights that are difficult to reach for most enemy air defense fire weapons," emphasized Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December, the Ministry of Defense also approved the use of the new Ukrainian-made SOVA 10 UAV in the Defense Forces.
