GDP grows by 2.0% in Q3, 2024
In July-September 2024, real gross domestic product (GDP), according to operational data, increased by 2.0% compared to the same period in 2023.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2024, GDP increased by 0.2% (seasonally adjusted).
The State Statistics Service clarifies the indicators of real gross domestic product throughout the year.
The data are provided without taking into account the territories temporarily occupied by the russian federation and parts of the territories where hostilities are (were) underway.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in April-June 2024, real gross domestic product (GDP), according to operational data, increased by 3.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
In 2023, according to operational data, the real gross domestic product increased by 5.3% compared to 2022 (in constant 2021 prices) to UAH 6,537.825 billion (in actual prices).
The state budget for 2024 was developed based on the macroeconomic forecast, which predicts real GDP growth by 4.6%.
