The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has completed the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), which allowed Ukraine to allocate USD 1.1 billion.
This is stated in a press release on the IMF website.
"Today, the IMF Board completed the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) agreement for Ukraine, which allowed Ukraine to allocate about USD 1.1 billion, which will be directed by the authorities to support the budget," the IMF reported.
The press release notes that despite difficult conditions, Ukraine's economy remains resilient, and performance under the EFF program remains high.
It is emphasized that by the end of September 2024, the Ukrainian authorities had met all quantitative performance criteria and structural benchmarks.
The IMF added that the total amount of payments under the EFF will be USD 9.8 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 12, 2024, the IMF Mission began work in Kyiv on the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility.
And on November 19, it became known that Ukraine and the IMF had agreed at the expert level on the sixth review of the EFF program.
