ATB co-owner Butkevych buys one of largest producers of aerated concrete Aeroc for UAH 1.9 billion

Co-owner of the ATB-Market company Hennadii Butkevych has won the tender for the acquisition of one of the largest producers of aerated concrete products in Ukraine, the Aeroc limited liability company for almost UAH 1.9 billion.

The Ministry of Economy has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on December 19, an online auction for the sale of the authorized capital of LLC Aeroc was held in the Prozorro.Sales state electronic trading system.

The plant is one of the objects of large privatization - the value of the asset at the auction started at UAH 965.3 million.

3 participants competed for it, and according to the results of the auction, the cost of the plant almost doubled - to almost UAH 1.9 billion.

All proceeds from the sale will go to the state budget and will be directed to the fund for the elimination of the consequences of armed aggression.

The report states that the company's authorized capital is UAH 437,447,057.77.

"This is the first lot of a large privatization of sanctioned property in Ukraine. The activities of the Russian owners of these assets were a threat to national security. Now the funds from the sale of such facilities as the Aeroc plant will be directed to the restoration of the country and strengthen our economy. The new owners will preserve production, jobs and invest in development," said First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko.

It is emphasized that the purchase and sale agreement is signed only after the winner pays the price of the lot.

He has 30 working days from the date of completion of the auction to do so.

Aeroc is one of the largest producers of aerated concrete products in Ukraine.

Its production facilities are located in the Kyiv and Lviv Regions.

As of the end of June, the plant has arrears in wages, budget and overdue accounts payable.

The total amount of debts is over UAH 110.8 million.

They must be repaid by the new owner.

He is also obliged to maintain the main type of activity of the enterprise and not to lay off employees for six months.

The report says that the auction organizer is the State Property Fund, which received the sanctioned asset under management in November 2023.

The company previously belonged to russian oligarch Andrey Molchanov.

As the agency reported, Aeroc was founded in December 2006 with the aim of building a plant for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete in Berezan, Kyiv Region.

The plant, located in Obukhiv (formerly Obukhiv Porous Products Plant), became part of the Aeroc company in October 2008.
