Territorial recruitment and social support centers reformed. Defense Ministry to create new mobilization bodies
The Ministry of Defense is developing a reform of territorial recruitment and social support centers.
Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryluk said this during the Hour of Questions to the Government.
The broadcast of the Hour of Questions was hosted by Oleksii Honcharenko, an MP from the European Solidarity faction, on his YouTube channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Today, the Ministry of Defense is developing a version of completely reforming territorial recruitment and social support centers in a new way," he said.
According to the reform, territorial recruitment and social support centers will be subordinate to the Ministry of Defense, not the Ground Forces. It is also planned to create completely new structures to carry out measures related to the mobilization of persons liable for military service.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the Protection of the Rights of Servicemen proposed to disband territorial recruitment and social support centers and create 10 brigades from the servicemen of territorial recruitment and social support centers.
