Chechnya complains about drone attack on special forces police barracks, Kadyrov threatens revenge

On Thursday, December 12, the head of the Chechen Republic of the russian federation, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported another drone attack on the building of a special forces police regiment in the city of Grozny that night. Allegedly, four servicemen were injured as a result of the strike.

Kadyrov himself reported this on his Telegram page.

According to him, a drone was allegedly shot down over the barracks of the Akhmat Kadyrov police regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya, and the debris when it fell "caused a small fire, which was quickly extinguished."

"No one was seriously injured. 4 guards were slightly injured. The personnel on duty were in premises protected from such attacks at that time," the head of Chechnya claims.

The explosion occurred in Grozny at approximately 12 a.m. local time near the building of the second regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the occupation regime of Chechnya. According to local channels, the explosion was so powerful that it was heard in different areas of the city.

Eyewitnesses reported a large number of injuries as a result of the explosion. The video published by local Telegram channels shows the moment of the explosion, as well as damage to a building similar to the russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chechen Republic, where Kadyrov's security forces are stationed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, previously unknown drones attacked three regions of russia, and an oil depot caught fire in the Belgorod Oblast.
