Trump and Zelenskyy may meet in Paris, where Macron invited them — media
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. president-elect Donald Trump may meet in Paris, where they were invited to the opening ceremony of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral.
European Pravda reported this with reference to a report by the AFP agency.
According to AFP, French President Emmanuel Macron will receive Zelenskyy at the Elysee Palace on December 7 at 6:00 p.m. local time.
At the same time, Macron is scheduled to meet with U.S. president-elect Trump at 5:00 p.m.
The French President's press service did not specify whether Zelenskyy and Trump have a meeting scheduled.
Earlier, AFP reported, citing its own sources, that Zelenskyy accepted Macron's invitation to visit Paris and take part in the opening ceremony of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral.
Zelenskyy is also likely to hold several more meetings, as leaders from dozens of other countries have been invited to the event.
There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the day before, U.S. president-elect Trump wrote that France would be the first place he would visit after winning the election.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy previously said in an interview with Sky News that he wants to work directly with Trump, because "there are different voices” from people around the U.S. president-elect.
