Air defense forces shoot down 8 enemy UAVs
On the night of Saturday, November 8, russian troops launched 10 Shahed and unidentified UAVs over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 8 Shaheds, 1 drone was lost in location.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of November 30 (from 9:30 p.m. on November 29), the enemy attacked with 10 Shahed attack UAVs and unmanned drones of an unidentified type from Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (russia).
"As a result of the air battle in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson Regions, 8 enemy drones were shot down. One UAV was lost in location, another flew into the occupied territory," the report says.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, November 29, the russian federation launched 132 Shahed and unspecified type strike UAVs over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 88 Shaheds, 41 drones were lost in location.
