The russian occupiers have shelled Nova Kakhovka, which they control, in the left-bank part of the Kherson Region. An explosion occurred at a bus stop, killing and injuring people.

The press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on November 26.

According to videos published online, the russians struck a bus stop. At that moment, a bus and people were there.

"The video shows the consequences of the strike on a public transport stop, the bus was damaged, and there were wounded and killed people," the prosecutor's office said in a statement.

A pre-trial investigation was launched into the shelling under Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Earlier today, November 26, the head of the occupation administration of the Kherson Region, Volodymyr Saldo, stated that Nova Kakhovka, controlled by the russian army, was allegedly shelled by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to the collaborator, the strike on the stop was allegedly carried out with a 120-mm mortar shell with a cluster warhead. The occupiers did not provide any evidence of this.

Four people were killed as a result of the shelling, at least 17 others suffered injuries of varying degrees.

Advisor to the Ukrainian mayor of Mariupol, Donetsk Region, Petro Andriushchenko, wrote that according to his information and information from locals, the strike on the stop was carried out from the side of the stadium. Russian army servicemen are based at the stadium.
