Almost 40 russian Shaheds flied into Belarus over past day, Minsk raised its aircraft 4 times
In less than a day, almost 40 strike drones launched by the aggressor country russia over Ukraine flew into the airspace of Belarus.
The Belarusian Hajun monitoring project has stated this.
The "invasion" of russian drones into the territory of Belarus began at about 1:48 p.m. on Sunday, November 24.
After that, the Shaheds flew into Belarus individually or in groups of several drones until 8:49 a.m. on Monday morning, November 25.
It is reported that one russian Shahed flew to the outskirts of the settlement of Mozyr, where it was presumably shot down by the Belarusian military. Three more drones flew into the Gomel Oblast of Belarus.
The rest of the drones passed through the so-called "Belarusian corridor". The approximate flight routes of russian UAVs were depicted on the map by the Belarusian Hajun.
Monitors emphasized that this is a record number of drones in the entire history of observations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of November 1, 2024, at least 10 drones flew into the airspace of Belarus, which the russians launched over Ukraine.
Recall that earlier the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine stated that the flights of russian drones into belarus were connected with moscow's desire to carry out a provocation in order to force Minsk to openly join the war.
