Russia deploys 24 ships to Black Sea, including 5 missile carriers – Navy
As of 06:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 21, the aggressor country russia has 24 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including 5 carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 248 missiles, and there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"There are 24 enemy ships in the Black Sea, of which 5 are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 28 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; there are 2 enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, of which 1 is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles," the message says.
During the day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:
- to the Black Sea – 9 vessels, 3 of which continued their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – 9 vessels, 2 of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of 06:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 20, 6 ships were on combat duty in the Black Sea, which were carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles; there were no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
