Portuguese Navy reports increase in movement of russian ships, in particular spy ships

The movement of russian ships, particularly spy ships, has increased in Portuguese waters.

The Chief of Staff of the Portuguese Navy, Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo has reported this.

"From north to south and from south to north, according to Admiral Henrique Gouveia, in a very short period of time, three warships (two frigates and a corvette), two tankers, three research ships and a spy ship that routinely uses electronic espionage passed through Portuguese waters," the admiral said.

Gouveia e Melo said the navy is closely monitoring this flow of russian ships.

"Our response to that is to monitor them, control them, keep them under constant pressure with our constant presence," the admiral said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrainian naval drones were able to cut off the supply of the russian base in Syria from the Black Sea ports.

It was also previously reported that the Black Sea Fleet lost 25% of its ships, and the Sergey Kotov corvette was hunted for 5 months.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that Ukrainian special forces are constantly inventing new methods to destroy the ships of the russian invaders in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
